ABOUT KATIE EKLUND
Katie Eklund was raised in Ravenna Michigan by a single mother who worked full time as a nurse. Her love for art began at an early age, but at age 10 she got her first disposable camera and started experimenting with self portraits. Katie taught herself everything she knows about photography and Photoshop through practice. She started off doing photos for friends and family, then it grew into conceptual self portraits, and then into fantasy and beauty portraiture.
Originally Eklund Photography, she changed her business name to Horns & Halos photography to better fit her style of art.
Katie Eklund is an internationally published fine art/fantasy portrait photographer and model. Her work is described as both haunting and beautiful, with the ability to capture the light side, and well as the dark side.
